The BRA Gozo Group with a membership of 180 plus, represents its members from a wide range of backgrounds; some have been living here for over 20 years, others a few months. Members have a wide range of backgrounds, a high proportion of whom havc retired.

A wide range of events is organised to appeal to as many members as possible, and includes quizzes, outings, lunches and dinner dances. At least once a year depending on the number of new members, we have a “new members” reception. We meet on the 1st Monday of every month, except from June to October, at the Calypso Hotel, Marsalforn for Coffee Mornings. A variety of talks are given from speakers with varied interests and also some fun events are organised.

We offer support, where needed, through a Welfare Officer, and have a stock of useful aids for persons who have a temporary mobility problem. The committee encourages a community spirit, where everybody cares about each other.

A monthly newsletter “The Gozo Oracle” is published and distributed 10 times a year to all Gozo members by email or post. It covers a wide range of articles, keeps everybody up to date with events and provides practical information that could be of interest to all.

▪ FEBRUARY
6th. Coffee Morning, speaker Colin King “Life and Times of an ex-London Fire Fighter”.
